Have you ever wanted to add a video to your website or blog but didn’t know where to start?
This is your chance to learn from two of the best – Matt + Julie Walker of Tiger in a Jar and famed couple of the Kinfolk videos as well as many others you’ve most likely seen online. Their epicurean and “how to” videos are clear examples of emotionally connected filmmaking. Their fresh sense and use of graphics and music brings their filmmaking creativity to the forefront of today’s online video production.
Matt + Julie will cover the basics of Pre-production, Production and Post-production and you will work in a team to produce an inspiration film of your time in Asheville, North Carolina and surrounding area. There will be morning discussions followed by afternoon applications of your newly discovered skills.
Tiger in a Jar documents life through photos and films and is a creative studio run by Matt + Julie from Salt Lake City, Utah. Tiger in a Jar documents life through photos and films and is a creative studio run by Matt + Julie from Salt Lake City, Utah. Tiger in a Jar by name has only been around for a little while, but Matt and Julie have been creating for years. They document life through film and pictures, and are endlessly inspired by the world around them.
We spend our days together making films, dreaming up ideas, and saving our pennies so that we can one day own a house with a big garden. We started Tiger in a Jar last year after both of us quit our day jobs, to date the scariest/best decision we have ever made. Julie has a background in Graphic Design and Matt has been making films since he was old enough to hold a video camera. When we are not working, we like to watch old movies, make dinner together, and go for walks around our neighborhood.
See more films on the Tiger in a Jar website - here.
We do want people to know how to import footage from their cameras to the editing timeline.
